Ctrl+S gets the JSON from the JSON schema editor and the values aren't updated until focus is lost from the field.
It won't lose focus when pressing Ctrl+S, and is therefore not saved at all.

Ctrl+S event handler could possibly change focus and back and hopefully it will be saved immediately and not create a race condition.
